Tối chủ nhật, thứ ba hằng tháng là lịch sinh hoạt thường kỳ của những người yêu thích điệu nhảy Salsa. Vườn hoa tượng đài Lý Thái Tổ là địa điểm gặp mặt của những người yêu thích những điệu nhảy đường phố.
Khoảng từ 20h30, nhạc bắt đầu nổi lên và kết thúc sau 2 tiếng đồng hồ. Rất nhiều bạn trẻ tìm đến đây để gặp gỡ bạn bè, để được cùng nắm tay nhau nhảy theo điệu nhạc.
Khiêu vũ đường phố thường là các điệu Salsa, Bachata và đôi khi có cả sự góp mặt của hip hop. Tất cả đều hướng tới một buổi sinh hoạt lành mạnh, sảng khoái nên mỗi buổi thu hút đến gần 200 bạn trẻ tham gia.

Linline Salsa Holidays Hanoi 2009, sự kiện Salsa quy mô quốc tế với sự xuất hiện của các vũ sư, vũ công và những người yêu Salsa đến từ nhiều nước trên thế giới sẽ diễn ra từ ngày 30/7 – 1/8 tại Hà Nội. Sẽ có khoảng trên dưới 100 vũ công quốc tế đến tham dự chương trình, đặc biệt với sự xuất hiện của các vũ sư nổi tiếng thế giới như: Gupson Pierre (Canada): là một vũ sư hàng đầu, một huấn luyện viên tài ba và đã từng đạt nhiều giải thưởng trong các cuộc thi lớn trên thế giới.
Về phía nước chủ nhà Việt Nam, sẽ có sự tham gia của Besame, một trong những nhóm nhảy Salsa được tổ chức chuyên nghiệp tại Việt Nam. Hai thành viên của nhóm là Bùi Khánh Thu và Trần Minh Hoàng đã từng đoạt giải nhất cuộc thi Salsa Hà Nội năm 2008.
Ngoài ra, tham dự chương trình cũng chính là những đôi nhảy, nhóm nhảy, thành viên của các CLB Salsa lớn như: Hyec, Odc, Newdance…
Được biết, Salsa du nhập vào Hà Nội từ những năm đầu tiên của thế kỷ 21 khi mà ngưỡng cửa hội nhập ngày càng mở rộng ra quốc tế cho giới trẻ Việt Nam. Ngoài việc đồng hành phát triển cùng với các CLB khiêu vũ cổ điển, Salsa đã tự tìm ra hướng đi riêng của mình và độc lập tạo cho mình một sân chơi mới. Có thể coi ngày hội Salsa quốc tế lần đầu tiên diễn ra tại Hà Nội là sân chơi hấp dẫn cho những ai mê đắm vũ điệu Latin.
Ngày hội Salsa quốc tế diễn ra từ ngày 30/7 – 1/8 tại khách sạn Sheraton, Hà Nội.
